U.S. IT Employment Hits Another All-Time High in February
March 12, 2013 – Alexandria, VA — Information Technology employment in the U.S. continued to grow at a fairly brisk pace in February, according to new figures from the Alexandria-based TechServe Alliance, a collaboration of IT services firms, clients, consultants and suppliers. The industry added 16,500 jobs to finish the month at an all-time high of 4.37 million. All told, IT employment has grown by nearly 4.6% since Feb. 2012. “As long as we don’t experience a macroeconomic shock, I anticipate we will continue to set all-time records in IT employment throughout 2013,” said Mark Roberts, the CEO of TechServe.
