About the Role

The Security Specialist is responsible for the development, implementation and application of Information Resources Management security policies in support of federal security requirements and industry best practices. It functions as the technical expert on security operations.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• §  Plans, develops, implements and monitors applications, data and site security

Objective
We are looking for talented individuals with a passion to build a world class Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) that helps extract information from data.   This data is used extensively to develop and evaluate strategic and tactical, business decisions. The BI team is partnering with the business to identify and build value opportunities using predictive analytics and decision modeling systems on top of the EDW.

The SDE will help model, design, implement, test and operate the EDW. The candidate must demonstrate knowledge of implementation in database environments.  In addition, the user will translate business requirements into a logical data model and perform physical database design, data sourcing, data transformation, data loading, database and SQL performance tuning.
